The woodwork (1) has a frame (3) surrounding an opening (4) and including two side uprights (5, 6) extending in a longitudinal direction and connected at upper ends with an upper cross-piece (7) extending in a transverse direction. Two side channels (8, 9) are intended to receive and guide with sliding motion an apron of a roller shutter. The side channels are placed on an external side (2) of the woodwork and along the side uprights, where the opening has a greater longitudinal portion (10) of transverse width (l2) allowing the extraction of the apron to an inner side (11) of the woodwork.
